Texas, October 2005. Three teenagers say their final good-byes to their father who is to die shortly afterwards. JaBoria, Tikeira and Ronald Jr. cannot hug their father. They have never touched him. Their father is sitting in a cage behind bullet-proof glass. Two days later, he is executed. Ten years later, we meet the three siblings. How have their lives developed since then? How do they deal with their trauma today? And do they have an actual chance to break the vicious cycle and live better
lives than their Dad did?
